Last year, around this time, we were grieving the loss of friends and dreams, and the holiday season wasn’t as bright as it is this year.  This year, we keep adding decorations (partly because we are hosting Christmas here for both sides of the family, and partly because we just have a lot to celebrate- upcoming adoption, dreams starting to form again, healing and forgiveness mingled throughout the hurt, a full life)

This year, as we journey towards Christmas we are trying to be more intentional- to keep our focus on Jesus- to give, to seek, to celebrate each day with thanksgiving.  We have bumps, and battles, but we press on- determined to worship and redeem the time.

“For unto us a son is born, unto us a son is given- and the government will be upon his shoulders.  And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”
