This was a quote from Our Daily Bread (devotion) this morning,
“Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
and you will be singing as the days go by.”
-Oatman
Today I count my blessings and the song takes flight from heart. I combat the negativity and discontentment that are rehearsed and try to reign. Today again choose to count, give thanks, and enjoy the grace, so much grace...
#1147 The boys having their first slumber party with their buddy. All kids asleep before 10pm, I consider this a joyful miracle!
#1148 Middle school and high school students praising the Lord at a winter camp retreat; a blessing to see them unashamed, focusing on Jesus.
#1149 Fresh love, newly engaged couple, so much excitement for their upcoming marriage and future; joy radiating from them; gift from God.
#1150 In awe that I really have this camera now! Thank you God, hubby, and tax return for this lavish gift that I have been wanting three years; looking forward to shooting from the heart with it!
#1151 Free gracious gift; pony rides for kiddos… face of darling daughter, eyes lit up, feeding her interest- horse crazy.
#1152 Father and son relationship, “one generation commends Your works to the other, they tell of your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4)
#1153 Warm light coming in on a cold winter day.
#1153 For the fun of receiving Valentine’s in your mid 30’s, it never gets old. Looking forward to adate with my Valentine soon. Thankful to have one- redeeming many years of lonely Valentine days.
#1154 For love that will never end, let down, leave or forsake, Jesus love- True Love Everlasting,
“Thus says the LORD: ‘The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when Israel sought rest, the LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”
-Jeremiah 31:2 & 3
