By God’s strength I ran a 6K this morning, yeah! I am hoping this is inspiring to you who aren’t runners but want to be. I was NOT a runner, when I started in 2010 I could barely run from one entrance of camp to the other (the short way). This spring I am running a 5K in May and then a 10K the next week. I am not up to the 10K distance yet, but doing the 6K was a milestone. Now if only my left foot wouldn’t start getting blisters around mile 3.5….was hoping not to have to buy new shoes, but we’ll see. I digress. All this to say, at the end of my run, I listened to Bryan Adams’ huge hit, “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”. That song never gets old; love it!
As I was listening to the lyrics this morning I realized how many of them could be as if Jesus is singing them to us, right to our heart; cutting through our circumstances to the main thing. Read them below and may God minister to You as you do…He is crazy about you, you know.
