Today is our 14th Wedding Anniversary and I’m paying tribute to my man and giving thanks to God for His grace, faithfulness and strength in holding us to Him and one another.
I wrote this song four years ago in honor of our 10th anniversary. I recorded it in Garage Band and it is far from perfect, but so are we, so it’s quite fitting. 🙂
As the Nester says, “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful”. She’s referring to home decorating, but I think it applies to marriage as well.

What a beautiful tribute, Katie! Your pics are really good, too. I’m reading so many posts on marriage today, and I wrote about it too (I’m your neighbor on Testimony Tuesday). “Steady and strong, faithful and true” describes my husband of 28 years as well. He just left on a trip to Texas at 4:30 this morning and in the darkness of our bedroom, he stumbled around the bed to kiss me goodbye before taking off. He is that man to me, and I thanked God in that instant for that truth. May you have 50 more!!!
