If you’ve been around here awhile then you know that I’m a fan of Mercy House. Today, Mercy House is supporting Global Giving Day to help raise funds for numerous non-profits around the world. These organizations empower oppressed women that have endured suffering and often feel forgotten.
Women around the web are putting on their pearls, taking a selfie, tagging Mercy House Global and sheispriceless.org in an effort to raise awareness about these world-changing non-profits that help women worldwide.
Head on over to She is Priceless to learn more about each of these non-profits.
Would you join us and put on your pearls today and/or share this post and the info. provided to help make big change around the globe?
Let’s help these women know their value but advocating on their behalf.
She is Priceless Giveaway

Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World (Book Review)
It is a joy to review books and share them with you. Kristen Welch, founder of Mercy House, wrote this gem, Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World: How One Family Learned that Saying No Can Lead to Life’s Biggest Yes.
This book spoke right to some issues that our family is dealing with. Entitlement and ungratefulness have surfaced pretty easily as we live in this American culture. We want our family to be marked by gratitude and generosity, and Raising Grateful Kids was a timely, valuable resource to point us in the right direction.
Kristen is transparent with her struggles, practical in her advice, and inspiring in her example as she guides the reader upstream in this gimme gimme culture.
I highly recommend every Christian parent read this book and ask God to illuminate which strategies to implement into their family. As we each incorporate small changes we can collectively make big chance in our country and the world.
Let’s turn from selfishness and embrace selflessness. Let’s exchange entitlement for gratitude. Let’s lay down a me-first attitude and pick up an others-focused outlook.
Raising Grateful Kids is a lifeline for today’s family. Pick up a copy and let me know what you think. I think you’ll be grateful you did!
P.S. Linking-up with Kelly Balarie of Purposeful Faith for the #RaRaLinkup. Join us as we lift one another up with encouragement.
