Welcome to Day #24 of the Grounded Series!
Hey Mom!
So, lots of my friends have phones, tablets, iPods, computers and more.?? I do enjoy it when my cousin brings her speaker and phone to listen to music when we are together but, it makes me upset too. I only have a iPod. That I have to share. With all 3 of my brothers!!??????It’s exhausting! I can’t wait till’ I get my own! Why can’t I get one now? And if I do, why do I have to check in with you if I want to get on it? I just want to be like them!
Proverbs 15:32 “Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof regains intelligence.”
Observation Time!
“Whoever ignores instruction despises himself……”
Despise:
You loathe it, abhor it, hate it, and think it’s vile.
I found this at: https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/despise
So if you ignore the fact that your parents said you have to wait to have a phone, you despise yourself or hate yourself. (Remember, x out hate). 🙂
Next. “…But he who listens to reproof regains intelligence.” Yay! I want intelligence! So, maybe I should listen when my mom says I should wait to get a phone. Wait, let’s get a closer look at the word intelligence:
Intelligence:
Intelligence is your ability to comprehend something.

I hope you have got an idea of what this verse means. Remember, trust your mom and dad.???? They know what’s best for you.
Stay Grounded in Love,
~Brooklyn <3 😀 😮 😉
