Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Here are some tips when you want to quit:
- Pray.
- Don’t be wise in our own eyes. Ask God, ask others for wisdom.
- Let yourself feel what you’re feeling.
- Take a break and reset, then see if you feel differently.
- Evaluate the “why” behind your pace, with these questions: Are you addicted to busy? Are you numbing pain by running yourself ragged? Are you doing what it takes to refresh? Are you relying on God’s strength and wisdom or your own know-how?
